Add to Cart' was Abhay's first solo exhibition, exploring the growing influence of consumerism, internet culture, and material aspiration on contemporary Indian identity. Through a series of surreal paintings layered with cultural references, luxury symbols, childhood nostalgia, and everyday objects, the exhibition questioned how our desires are shaped by the world around us.
The works drew inspiration from streetwear, cinema, social media, branding, and the silent pressure of constantly wanting more. Familiar characters, mythological figures, and ordinary moments were reimagined within dreamlike compositions, encouraging viewers to reflect on the relationship between ambition, identity, and consumption.
Every painting became both a personal observation and an invitation for viewers to recognise their own experiences within the work.
