The Artist Behind the Work
Abhay Sehgal is a contemporary surrealist who blends Indian heritage with modern hype culture. Through his signature “Third Perspective,” he creates intricate, large-scale works requiring four to five months of meticulous hand-detailing.
As an alumnus of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, his canvas is a world where mythological characters come alive, Persian carpets fade into dreams, and cultural symbols are reimagined in entirely new settings.
Moving away from passive decor, his work anchors premium dining spaces across New York, Chicago, Mumbai, and Delhi, alongside design collaborations with YSL Beauté and Prada, and global showcases at World Art Dubai and The Other Art Fair in Brooklyn.
