I created large-format prints permanently installed across Anardana's restaurant space.
The one places a classically dressed Indian woman, sari, pearl jewellery, traditional setting holding a Nike Air Jordan and a Christian Dior tote. Peacocks, metro trains, and a bicycle crowd the background. Old India and new money, in a single frame.
The other one is a hyperrealistic portrait of a kirana store, a Coca-Cola fridge glowing at the back, Lays stacked on the shelves, handwritten signs, and a boy at the counter. The kind of corner shop every Indian grew up around, rendered with cinematic precision. Together, the two works anchor the restaurant's identity: modern Indian, but rooted.
